Abstract

Rural convergence industry creates jobs and added values in agricultural and mountainous villages. It helps revitalize local economy by benefiting both farmers and consumers. Farmers generate income by participating in the secondary and tertiary sectors of the economy in addition to farming. Consumers can purchase reliable food directly from farmers and enjoy tourist resources. The purpose of this study is to categorize businesses awarded the certificate of excellence in rural convergence industry and to find solutions for successful development of rural convergence industry. As a result, this study suggests that a solution to the success of rural convergence industry is to develop local community economy by enhancing regional values and promoting endogenous development through strengthening consumer confidence, urban exchange, and cooperation network.

농촌융복합산업은 일자리 창출과 농･산촌의 부가가치를 높이고 지역경제 활성화에 기여하는데, 농업인은 농산물 판매와 더불어 2･3차 산업을 통해 소득을 올리고, 소비자는 농민이 직접 생산･판매해서 믿을 수 있는 먹을거리와 농･산촌의 관광자원을 즐길 수 있어 지역의 새로운 활력을 도모한다. 본 연구는 농가나 마을, 지역, 영농법인 등으로 구성된 농촌융복합산업의 우수사례 인증사업체를 대상으로 비즈니스 유형화를 시도하고, 나아가 농촌융복합산업의 발달을 위한 과제의 해결방안을 파악해 농･산촌 지역 만들기의 발전방향을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 분석결과, 농촌융복합산업의 성공을 위한 방안은 지역공동체의 협력, 판로의 확보, 지속적인 연구개발, 소비자의 신뢰, 도농교류의 새로운 모습 만들기, 협력네트워크 구축으로, 특히 소비자의 신뢰, 도농교류의 새로운 모습 만들기, 협력네트워크 구축을 더욱 강화하면서 지역진흥의 자원이 되는 주된 산업으로 지역가치를 높여 내생적 발전을 도모하는 지역커뮤니티 경제를 발전시켜 나가는 동인으로 삼아야 할 것이다.
